      Alexis Madlang, Print Editor
      Alexis Madlang is a senior at Hagerty High School, and this is her third year on staff. She loves working on the creative side of journalism that involves design. Her favorite form of design is drawing editorial cartoons. She also loves to know the inside scoop on what is happening in her community.

      Eternally nocturnal – sleepless nights
      Senior Dylan Post celebrating his last homecoming. Class of 2022 was the first senior class to have a homecoming in 2 years.
      Loud, exciting, fulfilling
      Junior Diego Osorio works as a GES Research assistant after school. With tight schedules and almost no time at all, students find ways to adapt to a filled schedule with work and school.
      Juggling work and education
      Junior Karina Ostashchuk scans a QR code to donate to Dollars for Doctors, a  fundraiser started by the Young Republicans and Young Democrats to provide medical aid to Ukraine. As a Ukrainian, Ostashchuk has also participated in food drives and anti-war rallies across central Florida.
      War on the homefront
      Senior Chloe Varady is in the bottom of her clean and jerk of 155 lbs at the district championships. Varady placed first at districts, granting her a spot at regionals and soon competed at states where she placed fifth.

      Junior Daniel Beldowicz is swinging. Beldowicz went 2-4 with 2 RBIs in the regional final game against Bartram Trail, he helped the team advance to the Final Four.
      Baseball makes surprise run to state semifinal
      Junior Tyler Covelli signs up to apply for the National Honor Society. After receiving an invitation, students had to meet in the cafeteria to get their application, leading those not in attendance to miss out on information.
      A dishonorable process
      The majority know the feeling of someone constantly asking for homework answers. Many feel bad for saying no and it may be hard to find different ways to politely decline.
      DIY: do it yourself
      Winter Springs sophomore Amy Brewster and Oviedo sophomore Ella Pilacek chant My body, my choice at the Tuskawilla protest. Brewster organized this protest following the leak of a Supreme Court draft opinion that suggests the overturn of Roe v. Wade.
